Welcome to TOFFA’s consulting blog for restaurant.
In this article I talk about various marketing modes that can help your restaurant business get customers.
Since, you are a local restaurant you do not have to spend hefty on marketing due to two reasons. Firstly, you are not a national or an international fast food chain with lot of money. And, secondly, because you don’t have to as you have a small customer base.
So, what are some of the marketing modes you can consider?
Well, the following:
Menu: Often ignored as a marketing tool and considered as a rate list, a menu is an important, inside the restaurant marketing tool that promotes your dishes to your customers and can motivate them to order food.
Website: Internet presence is very crucial in this century. More than 80% of Canadians, which includes your customers, are on the internet.
Social media: Social media is a place where most internet users socialize with others. Social media provides a less expensive means to communicate with food lovers.
Blackboard: The black (or white board) at the entrance of your restaurant is a cheap way to promote your daily specials to customers who visit you.
Newspaper, radio and television: These two are conventional, and expensive, means of marketing. I am sure you would have used these.
